Just Gamin GTA

May 8th, 2008

I’ve been playing a lot of GTA lately. I’m still only 50% percent done, with 305 achievement points. I’m still not really thrilled with the MP of the game accept the free mode MP. Rockstar didn’t disappoint on the SP in any way. I was very worried about that with the bringing of MP to the table. This game will have lots of time in my box even after I beat it.

GTA free roam

May 1st, 2008

OMG, I had so much fun last night. I only played a few organized rounds (not impressed), but the free roam mode is sweet. I spent hours with friends last night just flying around, fighting each other, and looking for hidden content. This free roam mode is what I hoped GTA would have had. No rules, no objectives, just mayhem. Tonight I’ll try some more organized events in the MP. So far I’ll give this game a 9/10, I’m really loving this game so far, SP as well.

Easter Eggs

April 30th, 2008

Games and DVDs all hold a hidden secret, Easter Eggs. These are secret sections that the designers put into to games to either entertain us, or them selves in the making of the product. Most of them are artwork, a lil video clip, and sometimes hidden material. I bring this up for a couple of reasons. One, to make more people aware of these, there are lists all over the internet. You can check most of your games or DVDs on these lists. And Two, because I found a nice one on GTA today. It was graffiti my a famous artist Banksy. Nicely done Rockstar.

GTA!!!!

April 29th, 2008

If u don’t have it already, go to the store and get it. IMO best games series ever. Been playing from the beginning of the GTA days. And the long awaited fourth edition for 360 and PeeS3 came out today. I plan on spending the next few weeks wondering through Liberty City killing people, sleeping with hookers, and taking everything I can get my hands on. I’ll report a lot on this game, farther I get into the game. I’ve barely takin the plastic off, but there is always tonight.

GTA4

April 25th, 2008

GTA4 comes out on Tuesday, and is just a hyped as a game by the name of Halo. I’ve been playing all the GTA games since they came out on PS1. This game is going to be one of those changing games, where other companies are gonna have to take a lesson from. This version boasts 16 different multi player modes, plus a open game format, so u can just run around and shoot stuff. I’ll be sure to give this game a proper review once I acquire it.

XBL issues

April 23rd, 2008

So what exactly are we paying for? Xbox seems to have more issues with there service everyday. Either it’s not being able to log on, or a ridiculous amount of lag in games. So basically we pay 50 dollars a year for a service that doesn’t work all the time. When live was down during the holidays, MS gave everyone a shitty XBLA game to smooth us over. But when we have issues year round, nothing is done. MS has all of us gamers by the marble sack.

Devil May Cry 4

April 22nd, 2008

I started to play this yesterday. Very much a button smasher game, but the graphics and physics of the game are made very well. Fighting odd shaped hell creatures, and multi hit combos seem to be about all I’ve seen in the game. Devil May Cry may not be for everyone, but  I like those mindless fighter games, those games seem to fly by for me, and I’m only on level 10/20. I don’t wanna give it a grade yet, but I will comment on this game again soon.
