Horton Hears a Who! Dr. Seusss stories are simple, and their length is not long. His stories are short, yet their message is strong. Theyre also spectacularly unsuited for any Hollywood adaptation, as unsuited as I am for Dr. Seuss rhyming and alliteration. Theyve tried it before with live action, and with Horton at least theyve finally learned that lesson and left the prosthetics abandoned. Source: Cinema Blend

Hottie and the Nottie Starring: Paris Hilton, Joel Moore, Christine Lakin, Adam Kulbersh Review: That generous half star rating I tacked onto to this comedy abomination is all for Paris Hilton. Come on, it takes guts (or gross dim-wittedness) to appear on screen again after House of Wax. Hilton — my nominee as Hot Bad Actress for the ages — is still pretty waxy as Cristabelle, the hottie who will sleep with her nerd prince (Joel David Moore) on one condition: He must first find a consort for her bff June (Christine Lakin), a nottie of such scabby, acned horror (oh, that foot fungus!) that you know a makeover is coming. Too bad no one thought to makeover the compendium of clichés in Heidi Ferrer's script or teach Tom Putnam that directing means telling the actors to keep doing takes till they get it right. At one point, Cristabelle tells a guy, "pay our bar tab,... Rating: 0.5 Star Source: RollingStone.com
Hottie and the Nottie Starring: Paris Hilton, Joel Moore, Christine Lakin, Adam Kulbersh Review: We'll always have Paris, at least to kick around, thanks to a zombiefied performance worthy of George Romero in this limp-dick of a comedy. Still, Hilton deserves my generous half-star rating: It takes guts to appear onscreen again after House of Wax. Hilton is wax incarnate as the hottie who won't sleep with her nerd prince (Joel David Moore) until he finds a consort for her BFF (Christine Lakin), a nottie of such scabby, acned horror that you know a makeover is coming. Too bad no one thought to make over this dumping ground for clichés. The film in its opening weekend brought in a shockingly low-rent $234 per screen. So much for Hilton family loyalty. Just to keep Paris out of pout mode, the family could have bought the theaters out. Rating: 0.5 Star Source: RollingStone.com
