Ok. For anyone having trouble, it may seem daunting to beat your first epic boss, but there are ways to defeat them. I was having trouble at first too, but then I started fiddling around with strategy, and now I'm sailing towards the end. For one, follow the advice in the strategy guide. Seems obvious enough, but here's two very important points: One, make sure to place your purple gems first. Purple gems knock out their armor so other types of gems further down the line are more effective, namely yellow and red ones which inflict more damage. Two, you must develop some level six gems and have two or more clusters of towers so you can move the gems as the creature moves down the path. As you play you will figure out how to best place towers, how to use gems, and manage your mana. Keep in mind that mixing gem types diminishes their special effects. It's best to make pure gems if you can. As with everything, skill comes with experience, so keep at it :)
