Honeymoon
Some speculate this comes from the Babylonian practice of a new father-in-law
giving honey beer to his new son-in-law for the 1st month of their marriage.
But, "honey" more likely refers to the sweetness of a new marraige, and
the "moon" is a bitter acknowledgement that this sweetness will quickly
fade like a full moon.
