Things to do when you can't sleep

It's 3 AM and your brain has opinions. You have two options. Wind down with rain sounds, slow radio, and screens that ask nothing of you. Or lean in, and follow a fact about deep sea creatures all the way to sunrise. We stocked both paths.

Frequently asked questions

Will any of this help me fall asleep?
The calming apps, radio streams and slow loops might. The rabbit holes definitely will not, and we listed them anyway because sometimes you just accept the night.
How do I stop the screen from waking me up more?
Drop the brightness to the lowest setting, turn on your night mode, and pick something that barely moves. A dim tab beats a scrolling feed at 3 AM.
Is there anything I can just listen to?
The radio streams work fine with the screen off. Pick a station, put the phone face down, and let someone else decide what plays next.
Anything here that is not creepy at night?
Stick to the nature cams, the feel good pages and the satisfying loops. The liminal space archives are unsettling by design, so save those for daylight.
Do I need an account for any of this?
No. Nothing here asks you to sign up, which is good, because nobody should be filling in a registration form at this hour.
