How to play Haunted house inspector

Every day you get one reportedly haunted house to inspect. Read the complaint (moaning walls, backwards clocks, a piano with opinions), then go through the inspection findings one clue at a time. Your job is to file the correct verdict from four fixed causes: a genuine ghost, a plumbing problem, cursed wallpaper or just a bad landlord. Spooky sounds that follow a schedule usually mean pipes. Fourteen ignored repair requests usually mean landlord. Wallpaper nobody remembers buying means run. And when every mechanical explanation genuinely fails, and only then, you file ghost. After your verdict the full explanation is revealed. One daily case for everyone, plus an endless mode where a single wrong verdict ends your run.

About Haunted house inspector

Haunted house inspector treats the paranormal like a building inspection, which turns out to be exactly the right amount of respect. Most hauntings in this game are a pressure valve, a night-tariff dishwasher or a man who answers repair requests with a thumbs up emoji. But not all of them. Some cases hold up: the seawater footprints, the locked piano, the bell from a demolished room. The fun is in the sorting. Every case gives you real clues that point somewhere specific, and every verdict comes with a full written explanation, so even a wrong answer teaches you something about pipes, paper or people. The daily case is the same for everyone, so you can argue about the wallpaper with friends. The wallpaper would like that.
