How to play Sudoku mini
Fill the 6 by 6 grid so every row, every column, and every two by three box has the digits 1 through 6. Tap a cell, then tap a number to drop it in. Already filled cells are locked. Use the eraser to clear a wrong number. The puzzle is finished the moment every cell holds a valid digit. There is no clock, just a moves counter.
Tips
- Scan rows and columns for numbers that can only fit one spot
- Keep pencil notes for cells with two possible options
- When stuck, look at the boxes, not just the rows
- If you make a wrong move, undo right away, sudoku errors snowball fast
About Sudoku mini
Sudoku is a Japanese export, but the format is older than that. Number place puzzles ran in American magazines in the 1970s before a Japanese publisher rebranded them in the 1980s.
