How to play Magic spell typo

Each round, a wizard tries to cast a classic spell and fumbles the incantation by one or two letters. Fireball becomes furball, sleep becomes sheep, teleport becomes teapot. The magic takes typos completely literally, so exactly one of the four listed outcomes is what really happens. Read the typed spell, take it at face value, and pick the outcome that matches. After every pick you get the full reveal of how the miscast played out. Ten spells per run, with score, streak and a wizard rank at the end.

About Magic spell typo

Every fantasy story has a moment where a spell goes wrong, but nobody talks about why. The answer, obviously, is typos. Magic spell typo is a guessing game about wizards with clumsy fingers and a magic system that refuses to interpret intent. You meant to conjure a wall of fire, you typed wall of hire, and now the corridor is blocked by job applicants holding CVs. Each round you see the intended spell, the typo that actually got cast, and four possible outcomes. One follows from reading the typo perfectly literally. Spotting it is a small logic puzzle wrapped in a joke, and the reveal text after every round tells you exactly how the disaster unfolded.
