What it is

Sprunki Online is a fan-made mod of the drag-and-drop music mixer with the singing characters: a row of figures on a stage, a tray of sound icons underneath, and a beat that builds as you dress each figure in a sound. This version has its own cast of gray figures and its own loops, and it plays free in the browser with nothing to install.

How to play

Press Play and wait for the loader. Seven gray figures stand on a green hill. Below them are twenty icons in two rows: beats, effects, melodies and voices. Drag an icon onto a figure and it turns into a character and starts its loop. Add more until the track fills out. Under each active character are mute, solo and remove controls, and a reset button clears the stage. The loops play in sync, so you are building one track, not seven.

What makes it different

The mod scene around this mixer is enormous and this site gathers it: the front page is a directory of other mods, sorted into categories that run from casual to horror, and the player here is the standard one. The sounds are catchy in a way that surprises people who came for a joke. There is also a gallery button in the menu, best left alone on a first visit.

Why it is on Bored

It is a toy rather than a game: no score, no goal, just a beat you made and can reset in one click. For everyone who saw a clip and wanted to try it, this is a working version, free, in a tab, with sound as the whole point.
