How to play Logo recall

Each round shows you the logo of a completely fictional brand, like Fizzle Cola or Norbit Bank, for a few seconds. Then it disappears and four nearly identical versions take its place. Only one is the exact logo you just saw. Two details vary across the four: the colour tone, the brightness, the rotation, the size or position of an inner shape, the stroke weight or a mirrored shape. None of them is a plain or neutral version, so there is nothing to reason out, you either recognise it or you do not. Pick one, change your mind as often as you like, then lock it in. The game ramps up as you go: the look time shrinks and the differences get smaller. Ten logos per run, with score, streak and a memory rank.

Tips

About Logo recall

Ask anyone to draw a famous logo from memory and the result is usually hilarious. Our brains remember the vibe of a mark, not the details. Logo recall is built on exactly that gap. The game shows you a logo for a few seconds, takes it away, and then quizzes you with four near-clones. The four are laid out so that no version is the plain one and every detail is shared by two of them, which means you cannot work out the answer by elimination. Every brand in the game is invented, from Snugbee Honey to Zephyr Bikes, so nobody has an unfair head start and no real trademark gets bruised. What starts easy becomes genuinely tricky as the timer shortens and the differences shrink. It is a sharp little test of visual memory disguised as a branding exercise.
