How to play Neon trails

Neon trails is a two-player light-cycle duel. Each rider leaves a glowing wall behind them as they move, and the wall never disappears. Steer with your keys to turn left and right, but you cannot stop. Box your rival in so they crash into a trail, a wall or the edge of the arena. Crash into anything yourself and you lose. Play one versus one on a single keyboard, or take on a bot solo. Last rider still moving wins the round.

Tips

Hug the edges early to keep the open space on your side
Cut across in front of your rival to shrink their room to turn
Leave yourself an escape lane, do not box yourself in
Small careful turns beat wild ones, panic turns end runs

Neon trails is the classic light-cycle duel, the snake-versus-snake idea made famous by Tron. The whole match is about space: claim it, deny it, and force the other rider into a wall.
