About Pixel painter

Pixel art started as a necessity. Early home computers and consoles like the Commodore 64 and the NES had so few colours and pixels that artists invented entire styles to make every block count. The aesthetic stuck around long after hardware caught up because it is simply gorgeous. Our painter mirrors the old workflow: a grid, a tiny palette, an eyedropper. Whip up a 16 by 16 sprite in five minutes and share the PNG.
