Stimulation Clicker

The ultimate dopamine generator. Click things, watch numbers go up, and feel slightly more awake.

What it is

Stimulation Clicker is a clicker game about the modern internet's favorite drug. It starts as blank as a page can be: one button that says click me and a counter at zero. Every click earns stimulation, stimulation buys upgrades, and every upgrade adds something to the page that moves, flashes, plays or demands your attention. The page title is literally untitled until you buy one.

How to play

Click the button. Keep clicking until the shop appears on the right and you can afford the first upgrade, a bouncing logo that earns a point each time it hits an edge of the screen. Buy the tab title, buy the animation that shows what each click earned, buy the counter that shows your stimulation per second, and keep going. Every purchase costs stimulation, every purchase earns it back faster, and the page grows with each one.

What makes it different

Clicker games are usually about numbers going up. This one is about your attention going down. The escalation is the joke and the argument at once: each purchase is a small, sensible, funny addition, and the sum of them is the exact feeling of having too many tabs open. It manages to be a critique of overstimulation that is itself very hard to close, which is either the joke or the problem, depending on how long you have been playing.

Why it is on Bored

Lazy idle clickers is the home for games where a button becomes an empire, and this is the one with a point to make. It is also one of the few clickers that is genuinely funny to watch someone else play.

Tips

  • Buy the cheap upgrades first, they get the shop moving
  • Sound on, but be near the volume control
  • Keep the tab visible, the page is the show
  • Give it more time than you think, it keeps changing

FAQ

Is Stimulation Clicker free?

Yes. It is free in the browser with no account. The page is ad supported, so expect a consent dialog first.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. It works in a mobile browser, though the growing chaos suits a bigger screen.

Does it have sound?

Yes. Upgrades bring sound with them, so it starts silent and does not stay that way.

How long does it take?

A session runs from a blank page to a very full one, at whatever pace you click.
