An incredible collection of interactive toys, physics sandboxes, and existential games that will quietly devour your entire afternoon.

What it is

Neal.fun is the front door to a much-loved collection of browser toys: games, visualizations, interactives and, in the site's own words, other weird stuff. Forty-odd projects sit on the homepage as big illustrated cards, newest first, and a good number of them are already on Bored as links in their own right, from the ocean you scroll down to the checklist for a whole life. This is where they all live.

How to play

Scroll the grid and click a card. Each project is a self-contained page with its own idea: a password game, an asteroid launcher, a clicker that stimulates you into submission, a sandbox of falling pixels, a collection of internet artifacts, a set of absurd trolley problems. Come back to the homepage for the next one. There is a button for new-post alerts if you want to know when something drops.

What makes it different

Most collections are directories of other people's work. This is one person's output, and it shows: every project is polished, every one has a hook you can explain in a sentence, and none of the ones we have tried ask you to install, register or pay. The range is the surprise, from a serious scale-of-the-universe visualization to a page whose entire point is that you share it.

Why it is on Bored

Most collections of browser toys are directories of other people's work. This is the rare one where the directory and the maker are the same person, and it shows: every card on the grid is a self-contained idea you can explain in a sentence. We link the individual toys on their own because they deserve it, and the homepage because it is worth a scroll in itself, with new projects landing at the top.

Tips

  • Start at the top of the grid, it is newest first
  • If you already know the famous ones, scroll to the bottom for the early work
  • Expect a consent dialog on the way in, the site runs ads
  • Look for the toys you have not seen on Bored yet, that is the point of the portal

FAQ

Is Neal.fun free?

Yes. Everything on it is free in the browser with no account. The site is ad supported, so expect a consent dialog first.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The homepage works in a mobile browser, and so do many of the projects.

How many projects are there?

Around forty on the homepage at the time of writing, with new ones added at the top.

Does it end?

No. It is a collection, not a game, and it keeps growing.
