How to play Battle stair

Tap Play run, then choose the soft trail for lighter foes or the rough trail for bigger rewards and meaner swings. Each fight is turn based: Attack chips one foe, Guard halves what you take until their turn ends, Spark is a stronger zap on cooldown, and Tonic drinks restore a chunk of HP if you have bottles. When the last foe falls you collect gold and XP, maybe a bonus tonic, then visit the shop to sharpen your blade, fortify your mail or stock up before you pick the next trail.

Tips

• Rough trail scales harder but pays more gold and XP, ride it when you feel tanky
• Armor raises max HP and your block stat, so it helps Spark and Attack indirectly by keeping you alive
• Spark shares the same stat as Attack, upgrades to your weapon boost both
• You heal a bit each time you level, try to level before you spend tonics
• If two foes show up, focus one target with Attack while Spark is cooling down

About Battle stair

Battle stair is an original mini RPG made for quick breaks. The layout borrows the cozy look of pixel remaster-era JRPG battles without copying any trademarked monsters, music or art. Every enemy name is made up, every background is a simple gradient forest from our own drawing code, and there is no scripted story, only stairs.
