Brick

Break every brick to clear the layout. 6 levels, falling power-ups, 3 lives.

How to play Brick

Move your cyan paddle left and right to bounce the amber ball into the rainbow bricks above. Each brick you hit gives you points and the ball bounces away. Clear every brick to advance to the next level: the layout changes from a classic rainbow grid to a pyramid, diamond, zigzag, heart and arrow shape, and after the last layout it loops back faster. Some broken bricks drop a falling letter tile. Catch them with your paddle to grab the buff: 3 splits the ball into three, W makes your paddle wider for ten seconds, L gives an extra life and S slows the action down for eight seconds. You start with three lives and lose one each time the last ball falls below the paddle. Use the arrow keys, A and D, or drag your finger on mobile.

About Brick

Brick is a colorful take on Atari's Breakout, originally designed by Steve Wozniak and Steve Jobs in 1976. The genre exploded with Taito's Arkanoid in the eighties and has powered countless ball-and-paddle games since. Our version keeps the classic feel: paddle, ball, rows of bricks. The bricks are now a full rainbow, the level changes shape every clear and falling letter tiles bring Arkanoid-style power-ups into the mix. Free, no install, no ads in the play area.
