How to play Mole mash

Moles pop out of holes around the board. Tap or click each mole to bonk it before it ducks back down. Each hit adds a point. The longer the round runs, the faster the moles pop and the shorter they stay up. Miss too many in a row and the round ends. Try to last as long as possible and beat your best score.

Tips

Watch the whole board, not just one hole
Stay loose, tense fingers slow you down
Hit moles as soon as they pop, do not wait for a clear shot
Use one finger or one hand only, switching slows your taps

About Mole mash

The bonk-the-mole arcade cabinet has been a carnival staple since the 1970s, with real foam moles punching up out of holes and players walloping them with a padded mallet. Carnival arcades still have the cabinet today. Our pixel version is the same idea, friendlier on the wrists, just as silly.
