How to play Math sprint

A simple problem appears on screen, like 7 plus 4 or 9 minus 6. Type the answer or tap the number pad, then press enter. A new problem loads instantly. The clock runs for thirty seconds. Every right answer adds a point. Wrong answers shake the card and move you to the next problem. Your final score is total correct answers when the buzzer hits.

Tips

Lock in easy sums fast, do not overthink them
Skip a sum you are not sure of, wrong answers eat the clock
Use round numbers, 9 plus 7 becomes 10 plus 7 minus 1

Mental math practice was a staple of every classroom from the Victorian era until pocket calculators showed up.
