How to play Office mythology

Every quest retells an ordinary office problem as a Greek myth. The third-floor printer becomes the printer of Hades, jamming eternally. The reply-all thread becomes a hydra where every 'please remove me' spawns three more heads. For each quest you assemble your legend from three choices: a hero (the intern of Delphi, the calendar assassin), an artifact (the sacred paperclip, the decline button of destiny) and a strategy. The combination decides the ending. Strong matches earn a triumph and bonus glory, weak ones play out as a mixed omen, and truly cursed combinations end in glorious disaster. A saga runs six quests and your glory points add up.

About Office mythology

Office mythology runs on one idea: office life already feels like Greek tragedy, so why not write it that way. The thermostat war becomes Troy. The self-review becomes an audience with the Fates. The office plant is Persephone, dying and returning with the seasons and the watering schedule. Each quest has three full endings written out, from triumphant to catastrophic, and half the fun is deliberately picking a doomed combination just to read what happens. The other half is slowly learning the game's one deep truth, which is also the office's one deep truth: the person who reads the manual always wins.
