Tube dash

An arcade three.js endless runner

Five stages of stylised tube runners. Jump yellow bars, slide under blue beams, dodge red pillars and weave around orange trains. The speed and intensity climb the further you go.

Arrows or WASD to move. Space jumps, down slides. Swipe on mobile.

How to play Tube dash

Tube dash is an endless three-lane runner built on three.js. Your character sprints forward at a steady speed that climbs over time. Use the left and right arrows or the A and D keys to switch lanes, the up arrow or the space bar to jump, and the down arrow or the S key to slide. On a phone, swipe up to jump, swipe down to slide and swipe sideways to switch lanes. A tap also counts as a quick jump. Watch for four obstacle types: short red walls you have to jump over, yellow overhead bars you have to slide under, blue pillars that block the whole lane, and orange carriages that drift sideways into your lane as you approach. Coins give you score and fill your stash. Pick up a magnet to suck nearby coins toward you for six seconds, a jet pack to fly over everything for five seconds and auto-collect coins, or a score multiplier to double every point you earn for six seconds. One hit and the run ends. The game saves your best score and best distance on your device.

About Tube dash

Tube dash is our take on the lane-based endless runner that took over phones a decade ago. Subway scenes, three lanes, jumps and slides, scrolling coins, brief power-ups. We wanted a second three.js game in the arcade with a totally different feel from Crypt rush, so this one trades the dark first-person dungeon for a bright trailing-camera tube and a chunky low-poly look. Everything is procedural, we generate fresh segments ahead of you and recycle the ones behind so the track is technically infinite. The 3D scene renders into a small canvas and gets scaled up with image-rendering pixelated, matching the rest of the arcade.
