How to play Void skirmish

You pilot a small fighter from a top-down view with bullet-hell controls. Move in any of eight directions with WASD or the arrow keys. The mouse aims the ship and your left mouse button fires the main cannon, so just point at what you want dead and hold. Space also fires for keyboard-only play. Shift or right click launches one homing rocket from your ammo pool. Press B (or tap the on-screen bomb button) to nuke every bullet, mine and enemy on screen. Bombs are scarce: you start each run with one in stock, can find at most one more between bosses, and earn a fresh one whenever a boss is defeated. The ship is clamped to the play area, no screen wrap, and your real hitbox is the small dot at the centre of the ship. Enemies arrive in waves, each archetype with its own attack pattern, and a boss with multi-phase bullet rings shows up every fifth wave. You start with three lives and brief invulnerability after each respawn.

About Void skirmish

Void skirmish is a fresh take on the classic top-down space shooter built around modern bullet-hell controls. You move in eight directions with WASD and aim with the mouse, so dodging and shooting feel independent the way they do in a twin-stick shooter. The five enemy archetypes each demand a different tactic, and the bosses borrow the multi-phase bullet patterns that bullet-hell games made famous. Bombs are deliberately rare: you carry only one at a time, find at most one extra per boss cycle, and earn another whenever you kill a boss, so panicking and spending one trivially actually costs you. Free in your browser, no install, no account, and your best score and wave are kept on your device.
