How to play Anagram blitz
Six letters drop on screen and a sixty second clock starts ticking. Type or tap to spell out as many real words as you can using those letters. Words must be at least three letters long. Each word counts only once and longer words score more points. Press enter to lock a word in. The round ends the second the timer hits zero.
Tips
- Find the obvious three letter words first to bank points
- Reuse the same root, like CAT, CATS, and SCAT
- Watch for sneaky words hiding in the cluster, like every -ER ending
- Skip words you are not sure about, wrong guesses waste seconds
About Anagram blitz
Anagram puzzles are old. Romans played them, Shakespeare baked them into his plays, and they still pop up in newspapers and TV game shows like Countdown and Boggle. The thrill is the same as it was two thousand years ago: take a pile of letters, shake out as many words as you can find. Our blitz mode is short on purpose. One minute is just long enough to feel the panic kick in, just short enough to want a rematch.
