How to play Color match

Two coloured panels move on screen, one fixed and one cycling through colours. Tap, click or press space the moment they match. Hit a perfect match and you get points and a chime. Miss the match and you lose a life. The longer you go, the faster the colours cycle. The round ends when you run out of lives.

Tips

• Watch the rhythm, do not stare at the colours
• Tap a fraction early, the system has tiny input lag
• Take a breath every few rounds, your eyes get tired fast
• If a colour pair fools your eye, look just off centre

About Color match

Colour matching reflex games filled flash portals in the late 2000s. The genre never grew big budgets but it never went away either. The hook is simple. Pure timing, one button, one rule. Easy to learn while waiting for a bus, hard to put down once you see your score creep up. Our build uses smooth gradient transitions so the eye actually has time to lock on.
