Petty Revenge Planner

Plot three-step revenge that harms no one. Laminated schedules and courteous notes score maximum pettiness.

What it is

Petty Revenge Planner is a game for the mildly wronged. Someone ate your labeled sandwich. Someone has had your book since 2023. Someone described your six-hour ragu as fine. Each grievance gets a three-step revenge plan, and you are scored on pettiness. The only rule is that nothing you plan can cause real harm, and the game enforces it without mercy.

How to play

Press start plotting and read the grievance. Build your plan in three steps: a setup, an execution and a finishing touch, with four options at each step. Choose the pettiest combination you can find. Documentation, dramatic labels and weaponized politeness all score well. Anything that actually hurts someone voids the entire plan for zero points, and the game has a few more opinions about what counts as revenge that it shares the moment you cross them. Five plans make a run and the points add up.

What makes it different

Most revenge games let you escalate. This one punishes escalation and rewards restraint, which turns out to be much harder and much funnier. The comedy lives in the gap between how wronged you feel and how tiny the response is allowed to be. The best options are the ones the victim would take weeks to notice. Every option comes with its own line in the plan verdict, so even a voided plan reads like a short story.

Why it is on Bored

The fantasy of a perfectly proportional response is one everybody has and nobody acts on, so we built a game for it. Five plans, a pettiness score, no one harmed. That is the whole brief, done properly.

Tips

  • Harmless is the whole game, one harmful pick voids the plan
  • Paperwork is a weapon here, and the more polite it is the better
  • Aim for the combination that would take the longest to notice
  • Read every verdict, the writing is where the game lives
