An infinite loop of colorful, sprinting dogs. Your productivity is about to be overtaken by hounds.
What it is
OMFG Dogs is a page of cartoon dogs running. The whole background is a tiled animation: rows of a husky, a poodle, a dachshund, a pug, a bulldog, a collie and a handful of small white dogs sprinting right to left across rainbow stripes, with the word DOGS repeated in big pixel letters behind them. The tile repeats in every direction, so the dogs fill whatever window you give them. A looping chiptune-style track plays with it.
How to play
The page opens dimmed with a single play triangle in the middle. Click it. The dim lifts, the dogs are already running, and the music starts. That is the complete set of controls: there is no pause, no volume slider and no settings, so the track loops until you mute the tab or close it. A footer carries two credit links, the words help keep all the dogs running and three small badges that link to dog shelter donation pages.
What makes it different
Nothing is adjustable. There are no controls after the play button, and there is no counter or score. It is a loop, a tune and a request to give money to actual dogs, and the drawing is good enough that the loop holds up on a big monitor.
Why it is on Bored
Thirty seconds on the office screen, then closed to applause: that is the job this page does, and it does it with one click. The payoff is instant, the track is impossible to ignore, and the shelter badges in the footer give the whole thing a small heart.
Tips
- Check your volume first, the music starts with the click
- Make the window as big as it goes, the tile repeats to fill it
- The three badges in the footer are donation links for dog shelters
- Leave it running on a second screen if you want company
FAQ
Is OMFG Dogs free?
Yes. Nothing is sold and nothing asks for consent. The footer asks for shelter donations, which is optional.
Does it have sound?
Yes, a looping track starts the moment you click play, and there is no control to stop it short of muting the tab.
Does it work on a phone?
Probably, with limits. The page has no mobile viewport, but the only control is one tap and the tile repeats to fill the screen.
Does it end?
No. The dogs run and the track loops until you close the tab.
Does it save anything?
No.
